Search/sort climate research projects

All research projects are listed on the homepage with the option to view details about the individual projects. You can use the search/sort function to limit the list.

To search, type a single keyword or a complete search string in the search field. Click the “Search” button to list the requested projects. You can further limit the list by specifying an “IPCC focus area” and/or “Sector focus” using the two dropdown lists. Please note that the search is executed automatically when a list item is selected.

The list of research projects can be sorted in ascending/descending order by clicking the column headers.

How to add new projects

New projects can be added to the database electronically by using the web formular. Provided that a summery or a project description is already available, it will take 5-10 minutes to fill in the form. By adding additional projects you are also accepting that details about the project will be made public in the database. However, no amendments will be made by third parties without your acceptance.  Updates take place 2-3 times a year.

Background information on the database

In 2008 the Coordination Unit for Research in Climate Change Adaptation (KFT) mapped 263 Danish climate research projects on global change, effects and adaptation from 2003-2008.  The results are published in [Link: Mapping of climate research in Denmark, 2009]

The database constitutes a tool to support the coordination of accumulated research knowledge in Denmark and is also a platform for disseminating new findings on climate research. As Danish researchers and their research projects are interesting and valuable also in an international context, the database is also accessible for KFT’s international network and fellow researchers.

Access

The database is accessible from KFT’s homepage (www.klima.au.dk/kft) and via link from the Climate Change Adaptation Portal hosted by the Danish Ministry of Climate and Energy (www.klimatilpasning.dk).
